Coconut Iced Coffee
Cold brew over coconut water and cream. Four ingredients, thirty seconds to build.
Ingredients and method
A house drink that costs almost nothing in labour and holds its own on a menu. Coconut water keeps it light where condensed milk alone makes it heavy.
Fill a tall glass with ice.
Pour the coconut water over the ice, leaving room for the rest.
Stir the condensed milk into the coffee until it dissolves, then pour it slowly over the back of a spoon so it layers.
Float the coconut cream on top and serve with a straw - it is meant to be stirred at the table.
Worth knowing
Batch the coffee and condensed milk together in advance. The build then takes ten seconds a glass at the counter.
